We will be reopening on Tuesday 18th May 2021 after a temporary closure during the pandemic. Find out what we’re doing to get Ready for Adventure.

Walking in the Carneddau

The beautiful Carneddau mountains, which run along the western side of the Conwy Valley and form the backdrop to our adventure parc, are home to herds of wild ponies and heather-strewn grassy slopes.

The Carneddau is home to some of the biggest mountains in Wales, and the highest summit, Carnedd Llywelyn, stands at 1064m – just 21m lower than Snowdon. These much less well known mountains offer a magical day’s walking, far from the day-tripper crowds.

Expect grassy whaleback humps rather than the rugged peaks of the Snowdon massif, with some beautiful lakes and forests to explore – Llyn Crafnant is one of our favourites. Look out for the Carneddau’s resident population of wild ponies.
