Supporting The Classroom

We’re surrounded by the mountains, lakes, forests and rivers of North Wales. It’s a diverse and dynamic setting packed full of living geography, history and heritage. Adventure Parc Snowdonia was built on a redundant industrial site and is an excellent example of regional regeneration. We are just seven miles from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Conwy Castle.

Surfing can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve confidence and increase concentration. Anecdotally we have seen how this has directly translated into improved student outcomes in the classroom. The Wave Project has extensive survey data on how their surfing programme has transformed young lives – www.waveproject.co.uk

Tackling childhood obesity and physical inactivity is one of the major challenges of our times. We believe that encouraging young people to take part in new, fun activities and challenges can help to broaden their horizons and foster a life-long love of sport. Our structured and engaging activities can help to amplify your school’s efforts to support healthy lives.

Surfing is a great activity for younger children to master for a scout badge, or for older students to choose for their DofE Physical. Students will be encouraged and supported by our expert surf coaches. Instruction is available for groups or individuals.
