Freerunning & Parkour Park

The French word for obstacle course is “parcours du combatant” and this military based training was urbanized and abbreviated to “parkour”.

The participants are more “practitioners” in this sport and often called by the French name “traceurs”.

The sport is to plan a route across a complex environment using certain techniques to get to the finish without use of any equipment, and in the fastest and most efficient way.

Parkour is a lifestyle similar to that of surfing, with small communities that appreciation their environment, and enjoy mental control with physical strength exercise. The balance of confidence and physical commitment whilst running and making quick decisions at speed to climb, swing, vault, jump, roll make this such a fun challenge against your friends or family.
